Streszczenie projektu

Celem projektu jest znalezienie odpowiedniego rozmiaru i kształtu nanocząstek złota do ich ablacji w zależności od długości fali i ośrodka, w którym są umieszczone do uzyskania największego przegrzania bakterii, wirusów czy guzów punktowych przy jednoczesnym niezniszczeniu zdrowych komórek.

Projekt ma być rozwijany od teorii i symulacji przy użyciu skomplikowanej fizyki, przez liczne doświadczenia, aż po ewentualne wdrożenie i badania kliniczne do ich rzeczywistego zastosowania. Owocem projektu ma być opracowanie nowej nieinwazyjnej metody niszczenia guzów bez operacji chirurgicznych, usuwanie bakterii z wody bez użycia filtrów czy dezaktywacja różnego typu wirusów.
