Streszczenie grantu
This project is divided into two sections, focusing on the mechanical behavior of advanced engineering structures and materials across scales—from the mesoscale to the macroscale—using state-of-the-art mathematical modeling and numerical simulations. The first section emphasizes the micromechanical field. At the mesoscale, materials often exhibit behaviors that differ significantly from their macroscale counterparts, attracting considerable interest from researchers in mechanical and civil engineering. The second section focuses on the micromechanical analysis of specific structures, which forms an integral part of the project. At the macroscale, attention has recently shifted toward advanced meta-structures, which have diverse applications in various engineering fields, particularly in medical sciences, including biomechanics and bioengineering.
Uzasadnienie: To achieve the project's goals, several commercial software tools are required. Mathematical modeling relies on algebraic software such as Mathematica to implement the derived models and obtain analytical solutions. Numerical simulations are conducted using finite element software, such as Abaqus. Additionally, kinematic and dynamic simulations are necessary, which can be efficiently performed using MSC Adams.
