Streszczenie projektu
Przedmiotem badań jest rozwój i implementacja kwantowo-klasycznych metod hybrydowych dla układów metalicznych. W metodach takich obliczenia metodą kwantową (DFT, TB) przeprowadzane są dla wybranego fragmentu układu, pozostała część układu jest natomiast traktowana metodą dynamiki molekularnej (MD). Badania koncentrują się wokół problemu fizycznie spójnego osadzania wyników obliczeń kwantowych (energii, sił) wewnątrz symulacji prowadzonej za pomocą klasycznej metody MD.
