CK STOS – Smart and Transdisciplinary knOwledge Services in terms of infrastructure R+D < Projects

The aim of the project is to build and equip with advanced IT infrastructure (including a supercomputer) a new intelligent facility of the STOS Competence Center (Smart and Transdisciplinary KnOwledge Services), the key element of which will be an underground server room (so-called “bunker”), meeting the highest security standards.

CK STOS will be a completely innovative and unique unit on a national scale, being a response to the diagnosed needs of the market in the field of R&D activities requiring calculations, or e.g. processing and archiving of huge data sets (based on the computing power of a supercomputer) and will enable the provision of new services SMART type. These services will be mainly directed to enterprises and will allow the integration of ICT solutions with business, thanks to which the project will contribute to the achievement of the goal of marketization research and development activities.
