Project Description

The project aims to create the Pomeranian Digital Innovation Hub (PDIH). It will be managed by a consortium consisting of a Coordinator, 20 Partners, and 11 Associated Partners. PDIH will operate as a one-stop-shop providing support in the field of digital and green transformation mainly to SMEs and public sector entities. PDIH will offer its clients a comprehensive range of services in:

• upskilling and training;
• testing solutions before their implementation;
• support in finding investors;
• creating an innovation ecosystem and networking.

PDIH clients will gain access to new competencies, consultations on technology and investment/implementation processes, practical training, as well as the innovation ecosystem that will develop around PDIH. This will enable the creation of new business relationships within the country and throughout Europe, thereby increasing PDIH clients’ competitiveness through the implementation of Industry 4.0 digital solutions. Gdańsk University of Technology is one of the key partners in this prestigious project. Thanks to its participation in the consortium, the results of completed R&D projects will have a chance to reach many SMEs and public sector entities in northern Poland. This will increase the chances of commercializing innovative solutions developed at Gdańsk University of Technology and simultaneously enable acquiring new research projects oriented toward industry needs.
