Project Objectives

The aim of the project is to enable scientific research by building and providing Poland’s scientific community with supercomputing resources capable of large-scale computations, in direct alignment with the EuroHPC – European High-Performance Computing initiative published by the European Commission. EuroHPC seeks to establish a European system of exascale-class high-performance computers, unique on a global scale, built using technologies developed in Europe.

The computing power delivered by supercomputers is a fundamental component needed for conducting research in many fields, significantly accelerating and reducing the costs of research processes. In addition to hardware infrastructure, the EuroHPC PL project will provide a range of HPC computing platforms along with sample domain applications, e.g., a biomolecule simulator using coarse-grained models.
