Streszczenie projektu

This project focuses on unravelling the molecular mechanisms essential for maintaining skin barrier integrity and immune homeostasis, a critical factor in protecting the body from environmental insults. Central to this investigation are key proteins that regulate the structural and functional aspects of the skin barrier and control responses from the immune system. Disruptions in these mechanisms are implicated in various skin conditions, including skin and immune-related disease.

Using a combination of experimental and computational approaches, the research seeks to explore protein-protein interactions, structural dynamics, and regulatory pathways that influence skin barrier function. A key component involves applying advanced molecular modelling and protein docking techniques to identify critical interaction sites and potential modulators of protein activity. These findings will provide a deeper understanding of the molecular framework and may offer new avenues for therapeutic intervention in barrier-associated skin diseases and beyond.
