Project summary

Our research seeks potential solutions to enhance the energy storage as an attempt to play a significant role in decreasing energy crises using biodegradable phase chnage materials (PCMs) in Thermal Energy Storage (TES) Systems. To achieve the said research objective we intend;
• To develop semiempirical model for using as an element of numerical code for simulation of heat transfer during solidification/melting process in biodegradable PCMs.
• Use of analytical, numerical, and machine learning techniques to study the melting and solidification phenomenon.
• Implementation of results using MATLAB/Ansys Fluent.
• Validation of results using Experimental Data from literature as well as the data obtained in own laboratory.
• Application of own analysis to optimize select construction of Thermal Energy Storage System (TES) filled by biodegradable PCMs.
