Public Software Repositories (FTP / Mirror)

For many years, CI TASK has maintained a public infrastructure of Open Source software mirrors, providing fast and reliable access to operating systems, software packages, and installation images for individual users, research institutions, universities, and enterprises.

Our servers are used by thousands of users downloading Linux system updates and Open Source software. Thanks to direct connectivity to the national PIONIER network and European research and academic networks, we provide high service availability and very fast access to data.

Maintained Mirror Servers

CI TASK maintains, among others, the following public mirrors:

The main FTP server also provides repositories for many Open Source projects, including:

  • Debian
  • Ubuntu
  • Rocky Linux
  • GNU Project
  • Apache Software Foundation
  • and other publicly available Open Source projects.

Cooperation with National and International Mirrors

Our infrastructure is part of the national and international Open Source software distribution ecosystem.

Repositories are synchronized both from official project servers and from national mirrors, such as:

This provides users with fast access to up-to-date software versions while reducing the load on the projects' main servers.

Supported Protocols

Depending on the project, repositories are available via:

  • HTTP
  • HTTPS
  • FTP
  • RSYNC

This allows both convenient data downloads for end users and the creation of additional mirrors as well as automated repository synchronization.
