Streszczenie projektu

I am a PhD student in Gdańsk University of Technology, under the discipline of Civil Engineering and Transport. Currently I am working on my PhD thesis, which is related to the velocity of ice particles on the water flow, under the effect of wind influence. At the aim of wind and water velocity measurements on the flume system, the PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) technique, has been used. The data, then is going to be compared with numerical simulation, to measuring the tensions imposed on the ice particles.
